Four Braham Teens Charged in Series of Crimes

Four teens are facing felony charges for a series of crimes in Braham, a 14-year-old, two 16-year-olds, and 19-year old Justin Belanger. Belanger faces a pair of first degree burglary charges, as well as a second and third degree charge. Braham Police Chief Robert Knowles says this is simply a case of kids with too much time on their hands.

Charges were filed in Isanti County Court on Friday. The teens allegedly burglarized and damaged property of up to 12 victims and Knowles says thousands of dollars in damage.

Belanger is due back in court on November 6th. The two 16-year-olds are due on November 4th. The 14-year-old’s case will be handled by the juvenile court system.
