Hinckley, Pine City, and Sandstone Fire Departments responded to a Wednesday morning fire at the corner of Lawler Avenue South and Fire Monument Road in Hinckley. Hinckley Fire Captain, Dutch Schroeder, says the cause of the blaze is unknown. Schroeder says the property is owned by Tim Davis.

Melanie and Brenda Alexander were in the home when the fire started around 9:30 a.m. Melanie Alexander says the blaze started in the room of her 3-year-old son, who was sleeping.

Six people were in the house at the time of the fire. All six escaped without injury.

The monetary damage is not yet known.
