[Update] Pine County Motorcycle Crash Fatal

The motorcycle-truck accident in Pine County, on Sunday, night has turned from serious to fatal. Jeremy Swenson, 22, of Sturgeon Lake passed away. Swenson was the driver of a 2008 Harley Davidson that struck a pickup truck in the rear. The Minnesota State Patrol says that Swenson was driving at a high rate of speed and was not wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.

The driver of the truck is David Pomroy, 54, from Ramsey. He did not suffer any injuries.

Alcohol was not detected in either driver. The crash happened around 6:50 Sunday night on I-35 southbound near mile marker 181
