Timothy Huff, 39, Laid to Rest
Timothy Mark Huff passed away on October 16, 2008 at Hennepin County Medical Center. On September 19th 2008 Tim was in an accident with a bobcat that left 80% of his body burned. He fought courageously for one month but lost the battle to his body. He was 39 years old. Tim was born in Carthage Illinois on November 7, 1968. His parents are Mark and Karen (Kraemer) Huff. Growing up Tim was full of life.
He attended Auburn High School. In high school he was very athletic. He played football, basketball, and ran track. After high school he went on to attend Lincoln Land Community College. He then decided to pursue a degree in cardiology in Minnesota. Soon after moving to Minnesota Tim met Kimberly Olsen while working at a nursing home. They were married on October 2nd, 1993. After meeting Kim, Tim quickly fell in love with her children. He took them in as his own as he expected a baby girl of his own who is now his youngest daughter, Lynsey. He loved his girls dearly. Tim and Kim moved to Grasston in 1999 and resided there until his tragic accident. Many people would describe Tim as an entrepreneur. He owned many businesses and would be considered in the building trades. In this past year, Tim truly experienced life to the fullest. He visited many places and loved to travel. He recently discovered a newborn passion for children of the Dominican Republic whom he wanted to help. Right before the accident, Tim told his youngest daughter to relay a message to his other children. He said, “All I want you guys to do is help people.” This sentenced alone described his very nature.
Tim is survived by his children Farrah (Rick) Hamlin, Tiffany Ahmadi, and Lynsey Huff; his grandchild Ella Hamlin; brother Bill and Jennifer Huff; sister Keri and Brian Dean; nieces Karli and Katie Dean, nephews Collyn and Evan Huff; Parents Mark and Karen Huff; friends Jeffrey Tarman, Von Thompson, Larry Juday and many more.
