[Update] Coleman and Oberstar in East Central MN

U.S. Senator Norm Coleman’s office announced today that he will make two stops in East Central Minnesota. The Senator will appear at Tobies Restaurant in Hinckley at 9:30 a.m. Firday and then at the Union Street Grill in Mora at 11 a.m. Coleman will debate fellow candidates DFLer, Al Franken and Independent Dean Barkley, Thursday, at 7p.m. at the University of Minnesota Duluth. The debate will take place in two segments, the first hour will include questions from moderator Patrick Marx, and the audience will ask questions for the final half hour. This is one of three remaining debates before the November 4th election.

Congressman Jim Oberstar will be at the Isanti County Government Center in Cambridge, on Saturday, for a public meeting on traffic safety. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.

Oberstar (DFL) goes against Michael Cummins (R) in the November election.
