[Audio] Rush Line Corridor Looks to get on Track

Victoria Reinhardt, Rush Line Task Force
A group of area residents joined members of the Rush Line Task Force, Senator Rick Olseen and county and city leaders at an open house in North Branch, Tuesday, to discuss the proposed 80 mile corridor from Hinckley to St. Paul.

Dan Meyers presents Alternative Analysis
The group heard two presentations from Senior Transit Planner Dan Meyers. Meyers says the project is looking at four alternatives, Bus, Bus Rapid Transit, Commuter Rail, and possibly Light Rail.
The Task Force is currently doing an alternative analysis to look at the different modes of transit. The study is expected to complete in spring of 2009. The process is done to help secure funds from the Federal Transit Administration.
