Trial Date Set for Lind
James Lind, 20, made his first appearance in Pine County court, Monday morning, for a preliminary hearing.
The Braham resident is accused of two felonies and a misdemeanor for a high speed chase through Braham on September 17th. Lind appeared with his parents and lawyer, Douglas Sauter. The court set both the commitment and criminal trial date for October 8th at 1:30 p.m.
Lind faces 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon, felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, and misdemeanor fourth degree intentional damage to property. The chase ended with the damage of two Pine County squad cars. The Pine county Sheriff’s Department says the damage is estimated at $5,000.
