Monday, September 22nd, 2008 at 5:02 am

The Rush City Fire department believes a shed fire Thursday may be a case of arson, this according to a release issued by the Chisago Country Sheriff’s Office. A 1993 Chevrolet Suburban caught fire inside a pole building, which also burned.

The fire happened at 2437 North Lake Drive, Nessel Twsp just before 7 a.m. Thursday. Authorities believe the case is arson because the SUV did not have any licenses plate, and the tires and rims were stolen. The vehicle is registered to a person in the state of Washington and is not reported stolen.

The department asks that anyone with information call the arson hotline at 1-800-723-2020.

The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office, Rush City Fire Department and Braham Fire Department responded to the blaze.
