Pine City council debates fire hall plans

Pine City Administrator, Don Howard, called building a new fire hall “the number one priority facing Pine City. ” The city council held a special meeting, Wednesday, to discuss a plan of action for building a new hall. In the end, the consensus was that more time is needed to iron out the final details. The council elected not to put the issue on the November 4th ballot. Instead, the city will assemble a committee made up of council members and city residents to gather ideas on the most efficient cost effective solution for the hall.
