[Audio] Minnesotans Smoking Less According to Survey
Minnesotans are smoking less acccording to the Minnesota Adult Tobacco Survey released today/. The adult smoking rate in the gopher state is down to 17-percent. Specifically, smoking for young adults between the ages of 18-24 is down eight-percent to 28.4-percent. Dr. Barbara Schillo is the Director of Research Programs for ClearWay Minnesota. She says there are a combination of higher prices on tobacco and new smoke free polices are to credit for the decline
