Talks continued Wednesday on the possibility of bringing an Art Center to the old Pine County Courthouse. Members of the Pine Center for the Arts gave the Pine City Council a presentation and vowed to bring the center to Pine City. They believe it is would be a resource unlike any other in the area.

Lisa Mill and Kris Seuntjens are the two women leading the charge on bringing the plans to the courthouse. They asked to partner with the city on the establishing the center. Mill did say the group would consider leasing the building from the county, but would rather partner with the city.

The council did not take any action, but the Arts Center said they plan on continuing discussions in the near future.
