A 51-year-old man from Arizona is now listed in Serious Condition following an accident in Mille Lacs County on Monday. Leo Meyers is at the North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale suffering from what are described as chest injuries. He was initially listed in Critical Condition He was one of four passengers in a car driven by a 16-year-old girl from Onamia.

The state patrol says the vehicle was driving northbound on Highway 169. The driver tried to turn left into a driveway, skidded off the driveway approach and struck a tree. Lisa Wheeler, 38, was another passenger in the crash, she suffered an ankle injury and is pregnant. She was transported to the St. Cloud hospital for the injuries.

The two other passengers were a seven-year-old girl who suffered minor injuries and 14 year-old boy, who suffered facial fractures. The accident occurred around 7:50 p.m. five miles North of Onamia.
