An Ogilvie couple is dead after an apparent double murder and suicide in Sherburne County on Tuesday. Deloris Heald, 56, is one of two victims murdered by her husband Gary Heald, 59. Deloris is a former Kanabec County Public Health employee. Rory Zitur, 47, of Buffalo is the second victim. Authorities believe he and Deloris Heald were having an affair.

The Heald’s were found by their son in the basement of their Zimmerman home around 1:15 Tuesday afternoon. Authorities say the son found a note left by Gary Heald stating that he killed his wife then killed Zitur at his Buffalo home. Gary Heald then is believed to have returned back to his Zimmerman residence where he took his own life. Sherburne County Patrol Captain Don Starry says the three were connected through an online relationship.

The Healds own over 200 acres of land in Kanabec County according to the county assessors office. Funeral services for the Healds are on Saturday at 11a.m. at the Lewis Lake Covenant Church in Ogilvie. They are survived by three children and three grandchildren.
