A 19-year-old man from Mahtomedi died this weekend in an ATV crash in Webb lake township. Clifford Humphrey crashed into a truck that was traveling in the opposite direction on Balsam Lake Fire Lane and the vehicles met at a blind curve.

Humphrey died while being airlifted to a twin cities hospital. The Burnett County Sheriff Office says he was wearing sufficient riding gear and do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved. The crash occurred just after 10 a.m.
