Blood Drive Today, Type “O” Needed

The Red Cross is hosting a blood drive Wednesday August 13th at the Evangelical Free Church in the Lighthouse in Pine City. The drive is sponsored by the VFW and Auxiliary Post 4258. Type O blood is needed, and under a new Minnesota law, those 16 years of age are able to donate as long as they have written permission from a parent or guardian. The drive Wednesday is from 1-7 p.m.
