On Wednesday, Sept. 1 the Pine City High School hosted the annual “Welcome Back” breakfast as a kickoff to the 2010 school year. All local school teachers, administrators, custodial staff, and food service workers were in attendence for pancakes, french toast, sausage, rolls and milk.

The Minnesota Supereme Court has upheld the life prison sentence of Jamie Larson of Pine City and her brother, Robert Larson of Parkers Prairie.
The two were convicted of killing Thomas Cady Jr. back in November of 2003.

Coon Rapids Police are searching for a suspect involved in an early morning shooting that sent one man to the hospital Sunday, Aug. 29.
Police say the shooting happened at a house party that involved underage drinking in the 18,000 block of Tamarack Street NW in Andover around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
