With less than half of the delegates from House District 11B present at the DFL endorsing convention at Barnum High School on Saturday, no endorsement decision was made for who the Democrats will run against incumbent Republican Rep. Roger Crawford. Pine City Planner Nathan Johnson says he did receive the highest vote tally in the final ballot rounds of the convention garnering 53% of the delegates.

An investigation is ongoing after a house fire in Barron County over the weekend.
