Wisconsin teacher arrested and accused of sexual assault. Deputies arrested 30-year-old Andrea Ebert of Cameron, Friday afternoon at the middle school she works at. She is facing accusations of sexually assaulting a student. She is not charged, but the Barron County Sheriff’s Department told WEAU-News that she’ll be in court on Monday. This Saturday, Feb. 4, an all-day fundraiser has been scheduled for the Mackenzie Klar Memorial Scholarship Fund at the American Legion in Hinckley. Originally billed as a snowmobile ride, Kenzie’s mom Lori told our Mike Hughes that alternate activities have been planned since there isn’t enough snow.
Of course, Mackenzie was the young girl who was tragically killed from a falling tree in the July 1 storm.

Tonight we’ll focus our energy on a big double header in Wisconsin’s West Lakeland Conference… it’s Siren at Grantsburg starting on Sam 1057 at 6pm. These two schools clashed in a similar double header back in December, and Siren won both games that night.

Governor Scott Walker is making a stop in the Chippewa Valley this afternoon. His administration says he’ll participate in an economic development ribbon cutting at Chippewa Falls Intermodal Terminal at 1:20 p.m. at 1160 West River Street. The event is only open to the media, but walker is expected to make some public comments.
