Icy Roads Cause Late Starts

Today, the following schools are starting two hours late:

Pine City, Rush City, Braham, Hinckley-Finlayson, Cambridge/Isanti, and North Branch are all two hours late.

There is no morning kindergarten in North Branch.

Phase is also two hours late.

Luck, Grantsburg Schools Now Closed

After initially planning to start two hours late, the schools in Luck and Grantsburg have been closed on Tuesday.

Tim Faust is the State Representative for District 11B, which covers a large portion of our Minnesota listening area. Faust was back on this week to talk about the ongoing budget debate in St. Paul, but also told us about Saturday’s visit by Congressman Rick Nolan, who took a look at the problems with Hwy 70 between I-35 and Burnett County, WI.

Woman Killed In Dunn County Crash

One woman died in a three-vehicle car crash in Dunn County on Sunday afternoon. The accident happened just after 1:00pm near Boyceville when, according to the Sheriff’s office, both a car and truck traveling in opposite directions collided.
