More than 80 fire departments battled an eight-alarm fire at a factory in southeastern Wisconsin overnight. A four-year-old Western Wisconsin boy, Aiden Foehser, was hospitalized at Children’s Hospital in St. Paul on Saturday after sudden cardiac problems. Chris Foehser of Siren told KSTP, that his son Aiden had the flu for approximately a week before suddenly becoming unresponsive. On Tuesday a large sinkhole appeared on Highway 35 near Milltown. All lanes of the road had to be closed for a time to do the repairs. Traffic was routed around the sinkhole, but after Crews spent several hours on the scene the road was reopened in both directions.

We carried a very good boys basketball game on Tuesday night as the Braham Bombers stretched their win streak to 10 games. The 2013 Relay for Life will be held at the Pine City High School track/football field from 2pm-2am, June 1-2. The chairperson this year is Eric Wicktor, who is a high school teacher in Pine City. Wicktor called in on Tuesday to talk about the upcoming kickoff meeting at the Pizza Pub on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 6:00pm.
