NOTE THE START TIME FOR THIS GAME WAS MOVED UP ONE HOUR DUE TO IMPENDING WINTER WEATHER TO 6PM
March Madness begins in earnest tonight on the All New SAM 1057 with our opening round broadcast in Division 4, for Wisconsin boys high school basketball. Our matchup this evening is between the Webster Tigers and the visiting Flambeau Falcons. West Lakeland conference vs East Lakeland conference, and the start time of this broadcast has been moved up an hour from 7pm to 6pm in hopes of minimizing the impact of the winter weather we have rolling in.
Webster finished the season with a strong showing in their road loss at Grantsburg last Friday, also a game we called on SAM 1057. In fact, the Tigers held a lead throughout much of the first half over the top seed in their Division four Region and coach Randy Hedrick says that game gave his guys some conficence.
Our Jesse Logan visited with Hedrick today about the game, and the coach reminded everyone that the game will be starting at 6pm.
It does appear that the biggest snowstorm of the winter is bearing down on the listening area with warnings issued from 6pm CST on Tuesday night through 6pm CST on Wednesday night.
