Mora will host the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders in a pivotal Granite Ridge Conference match-up. The Mustangs (2-2) have played good football as of late, but lost back-to-back games by just a point. On the other side of the football, the Crusaders (4-0) come in undefeated and look to keep pace with Zimmerman in the race for the first ever Granite Ridge Conference Championship.

On Thursday night, a 15-year old Lindstrom boy was shot and killed by his 16-year old friend. It’s believed the two were playing with a .22 caliber rifle.

Former Wisconsin state senator Ted Kanavas says he won’t run for the states U.S. Senate seat in 2012. Of course, it’s the seat being vacated by retiring Democrat Herb Kohl.
