The condition of Richard Dale Peterson,51, of Braham is unknown at this time. He was listed in critical condition, Monday, after a motorcycle accident Saturday night in Kanabec County. Staff at North Memorial tells Red Rock Radio that Peterson remains in the Intensive Care Unit, but did not give an update on his status.

Lake Superior Laundry is getting an A-plus grade from Donna Gambrell. Gambrell is the Director of the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund with the United States Department of Treasury. She along with her staff, Pine City leaders, and Frank Altman, President of Community Reinvestment Fund, USA toured the Pine City Laundromat, Tuesday.
Gambrell says she is most impressed with Lake Superior’s role in the community.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The detour on Highway 95 east of Cambridge has been lifted, reports the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The detour was necessary to allow crews to replace a box culvert at a stream between Skogman Lake and Fannie Lake.

A new fire hall may in Pine City’s future sooner rather than later. The city council held a special meeting, Monday, where they agreed to support and endorse paying matching funds if they receive a grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
