ST. PAUL – Minnesota lost 20,700 jobs in January, according to figures released, Thursday, by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).

Washington DC – Legislation to fund the operation of the government through the end of 2009 designates over $28 million for specific programs and projects in northeastern Minnesota.
