Red Rock Radio – WCMP / WXCX – has four pairs of tickets to the Minnesota Viking v. Houston Texans game, this Sunday at the Metrodome. The tickets will be on the radio auction, Wednesday, October 29th from 10-Noon.

Eleven Arrested on Cocaine Charges

Eleven individuals are facing charges of conspiring to distribute crack cocaine and distributing crack cocaine on the St. Croix Tribal Lands earlier this month. Ten of the eleven were arrested on or near St. Croix Tribal land in Wisconsin.

Pine City is working to fill the vacant stores fronts in the the cities downtown. On Monday, the city’s Planning Commission took a step forward in bringing a new sports bar to the downtown. The commission approved a request from Jerry and Matt McConnell to open Chubby’s Bar and Grill on the corner of Main St.

Weather Brings Concerns of Black Ice

BAXTER, Minn. – With dropping temperatures, especially in the early morning hours, the Minnesota Department of Transportation strongly urges drivers in central Minnesota to be especially alert for a phenomenon commonly called “black ice,” which can rapidly develop during cold temperatures.

Christmas Carolers Trick-or-Treat for Food Shelf

This Friday, cast members of Pine City High School’s “A Christmas Carol” will be trick-or-treating like they did when they were little — however, these teens won’t be in costume and won’t be asking for candy. Instead, cast members will be going door-to-door asking for donations to the Pine Area Food Shelf.

Tickets are now on sale for Pine City High School’s highly anticipated presentation of “A Christmas Carol.” The Charles Dickens holiday classic promises to be excellent family entertainment and is being presented one weekend only, November 20-23.

The Pine City Dragons beat the Zimmerman Thunder 28-16, Saturday night at Saunders Field. They advance to play on Halloween at Saint Cloud State against Holy Family Catholic, who beat Mora 35-24.
