Stacy’s Pastry Shop Owner Passes Away

The former owner of Stacy’s Pastry in Sandstone passed away on Saturday, September 27th. Stacy G. Felger passed away at the Villa Health Care Center in Mora at the age of 88.

Brook Park Breaking Ground on Water Project Sat, Oct. 4th

The City of Brook Park, along with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District plans to break ground on the $655,000 water supply system project on Saturday, October 4th.

[Audio] Oberstar votes “yes,” House says “no” on Bailout Plan

With a 228 to 205 vote the $700-billion financial rescue package was defeated despite four “yes” votes from Minnesota Congressman Jim Oberstar and three other Minnesota Representatives. However, four other Minnesota Representatives voted “no.”
