The reward for information leading to an arrest in the April arson cases in Northern Pine County is now $20,000 according to Pine County Chief Deputy Steve Ovick. Ovick made the announcement Thursday on the “First Thing in the Morning Show” on WCMP-FM.

The reward increase comes just days before the Finlayson-Giese Sportsman’s Clubs Annual Picnic. The Sportsman’s Clubs was one of over a dozen structures damaged in the blazes. Work is being done to restore the building. Club President, Dennis Prokop, says raising money this weekeng is significant in the rebuilding process. The picnic is Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m.
